County Squad

Aim: To improve technical ability on all strokes

To develop starts and turns

To introduce swimmers to Galas (Barnsley Minor League/Lincs. Junior League)

To work towards County Qualifying Times

Criteria

• Age 8 – 12 year
• Attend 3 to 4 sessions/week
• Swimmers chosen for squad in conjunction with Otters Coach
• Swimmers selected should have a positive attitude to training, competition and punctuality
• Swimmers to compete in meets selected by Chief Coach & Squad manager
• All swimmers will have a probation period of 6 months
• Swimmers may be invited by the Head Coach to attend an addition training session with Junior District
