CADS START LEAGUE SEASON WITH AN IMPRESSIVE SECOND IN FIRST ROUND OF LINCS LEAGUE

Cleethorpes & District swimmers travelled to Spalding on the 10^th February for the first round of the Lincs League.

Having come second in the event last year & having three out of the top four teams from last year in their gala CADS had a tricky start to the event which was clearly the toughest of the first round galas.

The swimmers were not to disappoint though and came in an impressive second place behind Lincoln Vulcan’s (one of the top 8 teams in the country).

CADS got off to a blistering start with one first & three seconds in the first four events and never looked back from there holding onto 2^nd place all evening.

CADS amassed an impressive 6 first places & 18 second places without coming outside the top five all evening.

Winners on the evening were the Boys 10/U FC & IM relays, Girls 10/U IM relay, Ryan Catley Boys 10/U 50 FC & BC & Sophie Long in the Girls 12/U 50 Fly.
