JOB TITLE:                        Parent Liaison Officer

       

RESPONSIBLE TO:         Committee

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·        Good Communication Skills

 

MAIN DUTIES

 

1)     To promote and publicise, in a positive way all aspects of the Club

 

2)     Welcome new swimmers and their families to the club

 

3)     Introduce new swimmers to the Coach

 

4)     After initial free trial session, check with the Coach as to appropriate group and inform of available sessions and current cost

 

5)     Explain to parents/guardians how the groups progress.  Not to expect too much on their first session.

 

6)     Check they know the locations of the pools we use. They may be new to the area, supply a map if necessary.

 

7)     Introduce the parent/guardian to the Treasurer and Membership Secretary.

 

8)     Point out the locations of Club Notice Boards, tell about Club Website

 

9)     Follow up welcomes!!  Check they have all the information needed. Do they have any questions?

 

10) Inform parents and swimmers of any changes to sessions

 

11) To follow and promote the ASA Child Protection Policy & ASA Code of Ethics.
