JOB TITLE:                        Club Secretary                  

 

RESPONSIBLE TO:        Club Chairman & Committee

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

·        Well Organised

 

·        Administrative Skills

 

 

MAIN DUTIES

 

1)     To process and deliver appropriate correspondence (both internally & externally)

 

2)     Ensure all facilities used by the Club are given a copy of the Club Insurance certificate

 

3)     Call committee meetings on an agreed date and arrange a suitable venue

 

4)     Inform committee members of arrangements.

 

5)     Take minutes of the meetings & duplicate and distribute the minutes.

 

6)     Bring to meeting all items of post received (these should be listed on the minutes), any items requiring urgent attention should be passed to the Chairman or relevant person

 

7)     To liase with other club committee members to ensure all appropriate administration is in place

 

8)     Inform all members of the Club the date of the Annual General Meeting.

 

9)     Attend monthly committee meeting.

 

10) To follow and promote the ASA Child Protection policy & ASA Code of Ethics
