JOB TITLE: Vice -Chairman

RESPONSIBLE TO: The Chairman, Committee/Club Members

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Good listener

· Tactful and discreet.

· Approachable

MAIN DUTIES:

In the absence of the Club Chairman the Vice-Chairperson will

1) Chair and control meetings of the committee

2) Represent the club at external meetings if required

3) Fulfill any other role of the Club Chairman as may be required

4) Provide direction for the club by effective leadership and management

Other duties will include

5) To work with other committee members to ensure the development of the club

6) To be involved, where appropriate, in the co-ordination of club activities

7) To follow and promote the ASA Child Protection policy & ASA Code of Ethics
