JOB TITLE:                        Volunteer Co-ordinator                   

 

RESPONSIBLE TO:        Committee

·        Enthusiastic and a good motivator

 

MAIN DUTIES

 

1)     Get to know all club volunteers and potential volunteers by name.

 

2)     Ensure that all jobs have a job description and issue a volunteer/induction pack.

 

3)     Supervise and oversee all volunteers

 

4)     Co -ordinate the implementation of  a volunteer recruitment plan

 

5)     Liase with the Development Officer to inform all volunteers as to course available in house or locally i.e Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Coaching Disabled Performers, 4 hour first aid, Rescue Test for Teachers etc.  

 

6)     Inform volunteers of Teaching Courses, their dates and funding available towards completing the course

 

7)     Ensure the Welfare Officer is aware of any new volunteers and they have completed a Criminal Records Bureau paperwork i.e. disclosure application forms, and ensure each volunteer is aware of ASA Child Protection Policy and Procedures

 

8)     Liase with the Registration Officer to ensure all volunteers have been registered with the ASA

 

9)      Attend monthly committee meetings.

 

10)  To follow and promote the ASA Child Protection policy & ASA Code of Ethics
