As most of you will have noticed,
a new door has been fitted at Whitgift and we no longer have a security
guard. We would like to point out to
all parents/guardians and swimmers, this door should not be wedged open
under any circumstances. It is
locked to protect school property and also the property of those using the
facilities. A number of pool staff have
access keys, however they cannot be expected to set up the pool, coach/teach
and keep an eye of the door to let people in.
Parents please take time to check the door to see if anyone is waiting
to get in. particularly just before change over times on sessions. No one likes
to be stood outside, especially at this time of year waiting to get in. If everyone does his or her bit then no one
should be locked out.

check the session is on for their child and not just drop them off and drive
away. There may be a problem with the
