Bubbles works to the new National Plan for Teaching Swimming  Click here for more details:  The new scheme has more emphasis on core aquatic skills such as:   balance & buoyancytravel & co ordination -  aquatic breathing - entries & exits - streamlining -  rotation & orientation -  sculling & treading water

Badges : parents/guardians will be advised if their child has achieved a badge on the week 8 reminder, however teachers will not issue a badge unless the swimmer has achieved the set criteria. We do have ASA Achievement certificate/badges, so swimmers struggling to meet the criteria on an award may receive one of these awards if they have achieved a new skill.

Body belts : Some swimmers think they do not need a body belt if they have achieved say 5m badge, however they are an important aid to help ensure swimmers have the correct body position in the water and help with their overall progression.

Please try to remember all children progress at different levels and some swimmers will improve quicker than others, at a young age the most important part is the enjoyment factor.
