Parents if you are an official and are able to help at any galas please let us know in advance, we would like to remind all officials 'whites' must been worn
Swimmers chosen for galas will be informed by the Coach with a gala slip, which they should reply to ASAP, don't leave it till the last minute, or wait for us to come and ask you. You must inform the Coach if you can or cannot swim. We may need to notify another swimmer they are required to swim. If you are unable to swim on the day through illness, please telephone the Coach as early as possible (his number is on the gala slip) so a replacement swimmer may be found.
The Club very rarely uses Coach or Bus to a gala due to the cost. However if a coach/bus is provide for a competition you will be informed of bus departure point and time on the gala slip. If a parent is unable to accompany their child, it is preferable to have another nominated parent responsible for them. An emergency telephone number MUST be left with the Team Manager at the point of departure, for any swimmer who is unaccompanied. When a bus is provided swimmers are expected to travel on it. Seatbelts on the bus MUST BE WORN. Coach fare - is payable by ALL Team Members - and is payable by swimmers whether they travel on the bus or not. It is important you notify the team manager/ or whoever has the bus list if you are traveling home by car and will not be on the bus for the return journey. Parents and friends are very welcome to travel on the bus and support their team -
