Swimming Achievements

I started my swimming career at Grimsby as a 9 year old. I was a founder member of CADS when it was first formed 30 years ago. I also swam at Scunthorpe, Gainsborough and Lincoln Pentaqua.  As an age grouper I won many county age group titles, as well as Open County Champion, District finalist and National qualifier. As a master competitor I have won 2 National titles, come in the top 8 in the European masters and finally winning a bronze medal in the World Masters in 1996

Coaching History

I was Grimsby Santa Marina's Senior coach between 1994-97, Coaching  Swimmers to National Level.   In 2001 I became Chief Coach of CADS until August 2002, when I stood down, due to family commitments.   I continued my involvement with CADS. More recently helping to set up and run the now successful Bubbles Swim School (CADS learn to swim scheme) as well as assisting Chief Coach Nathan Hilton on poolside.

After being swimmer, teacher and coach, I now find myself as a swimming mum
