Swim 21 Success 

CADS is delighted to announce that once again it  has successfully re-accredited at  ASA Swim21 Competitive Development Level. To add to this we have also been successful in achieving Accreditation at Teaching Level. This is a wonderful achievement for the club. A  great deal of hard work has gone into this process to ensure the club meets and continues meet the required standards  

 

A massive 'THANK YOU' to all the staff who have kept the sessions running over the last few weeks. All volunteers - most of them with full time jobs besides, they have between them done an amazing job, enabling all sessions to take place as normal.  (May 2010)

New Chief Coach for Cleethorpes & District Swimming Club

The Committee are delighted to announce the appointment of  Paul Woodley as Chief Coach of Cleethorpes & District Swimming Club.   After a long and lengthy process, with number of  talented Coaches applying for the position. Paul Woodley was chosen as the Coach to continue to raise the performance level of all our swimmers to a new high.  Paul is currently Age Group Coach for Sunderland Swimming Club, where he has had numerous successes of placing swimmers in National Age Group finals. 

  The Committee, Pool staff and in particular the swimmers look forward with to working with Paul  when he takes up his position with Cleethorpes & District Swimming Club on  May 24th and heralds a new era for CADS/CASA

Chief Coach Dan Higgon has now left the club. His final sessions saw him get a soaking with the swimming throwing him in the pool.  CADS would like to wish Dan every success in his new job as Head Coach of Chesterfield Swimming Club.       We hope to be in a position to announce his replacement shortly.  In the meantime, all sessions will be covered by our volunteer pool staff who have been given the full backing of the committee and we would expect parents and swimmers alike to give then their full support.   Land sessions will continue at Havelock

CASA swimmers selected to attend ASA English Talent Development Programme

It is with regret that the Committee have to inform all members that Chief Coach Dan Higgon has given notice of his resignation.  His resignation is due to personal circumstances - the period of notice has not been agreed at this time.  I am sure you will all join the Committee in thanking Dan for his efforts over the last two years and to wish him well in his future career.    The position has been advertised - Mike Hart Chairman
