CADS & CASA would like to offer its congratulations to Leah Altoft who set two new Yorkshire Swimming Association records during the recent National County Teams Championships.  Leah helped Yorkshire to their overall second place finish in League.

In her events Leah took 2nd place in the individual 100m Butterfly in a new County record time and then helped the girls 14/15 years Girls Medley team take 3rd place, securing her 50M Fly County record.

Given the strength & depth of swimmers in the County of Yorkshire with all the large City clubs. To qualify to swim for the county is an achievement in itself, to the break a County Record is amazing achievement.  Well Done Leah

 Dan who has been selected for the ASA Advance Coaching offer.  Dan is one of a number of coaches in the region who have been accepted onto the two year programme. This this involves targeted support from the ASA Talent Development Officer, the opportunity to access Beacon Centre/programme.  Help with development, along with visit to home club from English Talent Team

Congratulations to CASA swimmers Leah Altoft,  Callum Gladding, Josh Jones and Oliver Webster on being selected for the  ASA England Talent Development Programme 

Also, congratulations to Leah on being selected to represent Yorkshire swimming Association at the National County Teams Championships

Well Done to Leah Altoft on being selected to attend training sessions at the  Intensive Training Centre (ITC) at Leeds

 Leah Altoft  qualified to swim in two events at the British Championships Leah swam two excellent swims 100m & 200m Breast with an impressive with a new personal best time in the 200M Breast - 

A great finish to the Yorkshires for CASA. Saturday saw the sprints with CASA having 21 finalists and a total of 4 golds, 3 silvers, 4 bronze medals.Sunday allowed CASA to increase the medal tally, with a total of 14 teams in finals CASA collected 6 medals ( 4 bronze medals, 1 silver and 1 gold medals).  Pictures 

The second week of the YSA County Champs produced another round of excellent results for CASA swimmers with 164 swims producing 54 Top ten places and 23 medals - 6 Gold 9 Silver 8 Bronze & two NQT's 100 & 200 Breast for Leah Altoft

CASA Swimmers recorded excellent results on week one of the Yorkshire County Champs 177 swims produced 47 Top ten places 6 Gold 6 Silver & 6 Bronze Medals and congratulations to Leah Altoft and Thomas Paine on achieving  National Qualifying Times
