Swimmers and parents with any queries or concerns about their own or any fellow swimmers welfare while training or competing with the club, should in the first instance speak to our Welfare Officer

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ASA THE CLUB AND

MEMBERS OF THE CLUB ARE INSURED WITH THE ASA

(Please ensure you have completed an ASA Registration Form)

A COPY OF CADS INSURANCE CERTIFICATE IS

Held by the Club Secretary and is displayed were space is permitted at all the pools we use.  Although all pool provider have a copy of the document

ALL POOLSIDE HELPERS HAVE TO COMPLETE AN

ASA REGISTER OF CLUB COACHES AND HELPERS FORM

 CRB DISCLOSURE APPLICATION FORM     ASA REGISTRATION FORM

and are advised to attend a Safeguarding and Protecting Children Course - The Club will fund this course for all staff

All poolside staff agree to operate under the Club's

CADS Code of Ethics and Conduct   ASA Code of Ethics

POOLSIDE SAFETY      Emergency Procedure      Accident Form

No swimmer is to enter the water before any session begins without the coach/teachers permission.   All swimmers should make sure their name is ticked on the register before entering the water.  No jewellery is to be worn during sessions.  Tie hair back, and preferably  wear a swim cap. .  Do not block exits with swim bags.  Always walk on poolside

Listen to the lifeguards When the whistle is heard 3 times clear the pool

BE READY FOR THE START OF YOUR SESSION

If late, you may be refused entry to the session, this is in the interests of safety, as the warm-up  may have already finished
